A divorce process that never ends! Ambre Dol, discovered in Familles Grandeuses, wants to finally turn the page on her relationship with Alexandre, but things are taking much longer than expected…
Ambre Dol, one of the leading figures in Large Families: Life in XXL, has experienced the past few years as a long journey of endurance. A mother of five, an emergency room nurse, and a volunteer firefighter, she continues to move forward with her characteristic energy, despite a divorce that continues to drag on and a page that refuses to turn for good.
A divorce against a backdrop of domestic violence
Separated from Alexandre Dol since 2022, Ambre Dol filed a complaint for domestic violence after complicated years with the father of her two youngest children. The trial took place in 2023, but the divorce proceedings are not yet closed. If last June, Ambre Dol thought she had finally closed a chapter – “I am divorced… We just had the deliberation today after several postponements. I have been divorced since November 7, 2022 in my soul, in my heart, but this decision formalizes this long journey” – it seems that one of the two ex-spouses has finally appealed. On Sunday, October 12, 2025, Ambre Dol explained in an Instagram story: “There has been an appeal, I don’t have the date of the next hearing at the moment and I don’t know how long it might take. But we’ll get there one day.” An already difficult situation, set to continue.
Ambre Dol in love and at peace
Yet, Ambre Dol always remains positive despite the difficulties. It must be said that for the past few months, she has been in love again. A relationship she protects, without overexposing or rushing it. Her discreet partner seems to share her values: respect, patience, authenticity. Ambre says it herself, she wants to “take her time,” maintain her independence, and preserve her balance as a mother above all else. Today, she lives with her parents and her children, juggling her shifts at the hospital, her firefighter duties, and evening homework. A full life, often exhausting, but now at peace.
