In the eighth episode of season 37 of The Mysteries of Love , broadcast this Sunday, October 12, 2025 on TMC, Jeanne, Pierre and Mbongo are in the car. Jeanne ( Isabelle Bouysse ) is furious with her partner: she discovered that he had a threesome in the past with Ilona ( Adèle Esseger ) and Astrid.
As a reminder, Pierre, Jeanne, and Mbongo are looking for Astrid, who is using a voodoo doll against Pierre. Ilona explained that she didn’t know where Astrid was. Jeanne therefore blames Pierre for not warning her about the threesome. She apologizes to Mbongo ( Fabrice Charlery ) for this couple’s conversation.
Pierre drugged by Astrid in The Mysteries of Love
Suddenly, Pierre ( Frank Delay ) offers to lend Mbongo Jeanne. He seems completely delusional and is talking nonsense. Mbongo explains to Jeanne that Astrid has smoked the voodoo doll with substances. Pierre is as if drugged and continues in his delirium. Mbongo asks Jeanne to open the windows to evacuate the smoke from the doll. Pierre comes to his senses. It is urgent to find Astrid.
Later, Jeanne explains to Pierre what happened in the car. Pierre tries to look for clues to find Astrid. He admits that she liked to smoke and had a doll collection. Then, he remembers that she was a nurse at the hospital. Mbongo interrupts their conversation: he found Astrid. He contacted a dealer to get her address.
The Mysteries of Love: The End of Pierre’s Ordeal
Then, suddenly, Pierre heads for the door. He’s under his spell again. Mbongo explains that Astrid is taking him home, and they just have to follow. Pierre wanders down the street like a zombie. He’s completely in a fog. On the way, a man asks him for his money, but Pierre knocks him out, still unconscious.
Later, Pierre finally arrives at Astrid’s house. Jeanne and Mbongo prefer not to intervene so that Astrid doesn’t destroy the doll. Astrid ( Mathilde Mosnier ) arrives with her car and wants him to get in. But Jeanne intervenes and wants to snatch the doll from Astrid’s hands. Jeanne manages to knock her out and Mbongo retrieves the doll. Pierre is disenchanted, he is finally freed from Astrid’s spell. The latter wakes up, but Mbongo punches her and keeps the doll.
