In the twelfth episode of season 35 of The  Mysteries of Love  , broadcast on Sunday, October 27, 2024 on TMC, Pierre ( Frank Delay ) and Jeanne are in the car and go to lunch together. Pierre has booked a restaurant in an inn. Jeanne finds this romantic and wants to relax while Pierre drives. Usually, she is always the one driving.

Then, Peter asks Jeanne if she isn’t too disappointed about the treasure, which they didn’t find at the Monastery. Jeanne admits she was disappointed, but thinks it’s a good thing to give it to charity. Then, in the middle of their conversation, Peter notices a motorcyclist following them.

Pierre and Jeanne arrested by the police in The Mysteries of Love

Jeanne ( Isabelle Bouysse ) explains that it’s a police motorcyclist. He signals to stop. Pierre doesn’t understand, because they haven’t done anything. But he stops and parks behind the policeman’s motorcycle. The young policeman asks Pierre for the vehicle’s papers. Jeanne gives them to him, but they are under a firearm. Fortunately, the policeman doesn’t notice.

Pierre asks if they’ve committed an offense. The police officer points out that their rear license plate is illegible. The couple is surprised, and Jeanne decides to go check it out. Sure enough, there’s dirt on the rear license plate. Pierre defends himself by pointing out that it’s the same license plate on the front. He then asks for Pierre’s license. Jeanne specifies that it’s her vehicle, but the police officer explains that he needs the driver’s license.

Looking at Pierre’s license, the policeman is shocked! He asks him if he was born in Montargis. Pierre confirms and asks why. The policeman then drops a bombshell:  “I think I’m your son!” The couple is in shock. Later, Pierre, Jeanne, and the policeman find themselves in a field, near the vehicle and the road.

The policeman asks Pierre if he knows a Blanche. Pierre explains that she was a high school friend. He admits that they dated for two or three years after high school. The policeman explains that they were young and asks Pierre if he went to Paris for his studies. Pierre confirms. The policeman adds that he hasn’t heard from her since.

The Mysteries of Love: Jeanne Has a Stepson

Pierre admits that at the time, he was a student, young and busy. The policeman understands, but his mother couldn’t have told him she was expecting a baby. The policeman, whose name is Tobias, confirms that he was the baby in question and admits that his mother often spoke to him about his father. She was full of compliments about him.

Pierre downplays it, but Jeanne confirms it, as does the fact that he’s a lady-killer. Speaking with Jeanne, the policeman understands that she’s his stepmother. She takes the news well. The policeman is delighted.
