Christian spends a lot of time with Alexa, his childhood sweetheart, in the second episode of season 37 of The Mysteries of Love, aired Sunday, August 17, 2025, on TMC. Meanwhile, Laly has a flash that could turn Fanny’s husband’s life upside down…

In the second episode of season 37 of The Mysteries of Love aired Sunday, August 17, 2025, on TMC, Christian (Sébastien Roch) reunites with Alexa, his childhood sweetheart, in Lille, where he’s scheduled to perform with Hélène (Hélène Rollès) and the gang. The two exes spend a lot of time together, and Christian seems to isolate himself from the group.

Christian eventually joins Nicolas (Patrick Puydebat), Jimmy (Tom Schacht), and Étienne. He apologizes and explains that they have a lot to talk about with Alexa. Étienne (David Proux) admits that she’s cute. Christian confides that it was a real treat to see her again. She’ll be at the concert; she paid for her ticket. He points out that they had a serious relationship.

Later, while Alexa is sitting in a chair at the theater watching rehearsals, Cathy (Cathy Andrieu) invites her to come with the group of girls. Alexa (Alexa George) confesses to Laly, Bénédicte (Laure Guibert), and Cathy that Christian has talked to her a lot about them. She also mentions Johanna (Rochelle Redfield), Christian’s ex. Then, Alexa opens up about her relationship with Christian.

The couple lived together for almost two years. Christian lived in her small studio apartment and was already making music. She knows Fanny and admits that she appreciates what she does. Alexa admits that they make a beautiful couple. But she makes it clear that she is still under Christian’s spell.

Later, Alexa meets Christian again. She compliments him and admits that she recognized him right away from the concert poster. Alexa says she’s followed her and Fanny’s journey through life thanks to Sandra Wolf (Sandra Lou). She adds that her 18-year-old daughter loves it. She’ll be at the concert, too. Christian takes the opportunity to tell her he’s going to be a dad. Then, Alexa reveals that her daughter wants to become a doctor. The two exes reminisce about old memories.

Christian is surprised to discover that Alexa’s daughter is named Johanna, like her ex. She decided to call her that because Christian always talked about Johanna. He’s touched by this thoughtfulness. He promises to arrange a meeting between Fanny (Elsa Esnoult) and Johanna.

Just before the concert, Cathy, Laly, and Bénédicte take Alexa backstage. She introduces her daughter, Johanna (Cheyenne Pacreau). After they leave, Laly feels uncomfortable and confides in Bénédicte. She had a flash: Johanna might be Christian’s daughter! This is an incredible twist, as Christian is about to become a father with Fanny (Elsa Esnoult), but he seems to have a child he didn’t know existed. A shock for the character, who is unaware that Fanny is currently being held captive.
