Teyssier offers Louis a deal
At Double A, Louis and Anouk explain the subject of the second test to Teyssier, Rose, Clotilde, and Stanislas: the candidates will draw a dish name and will have to suggest a non-alcoholic accompaniment. The teachers, divided into groups of three, will play the role of customers.
Clotilde, Rose, and Teyssier find themselves in the same group. Among the candidates they will evaluate is Ferdinand. This delights Clotilde, who still intends to get him into the Institute.
During the test, Clotilde and Teyssier argue over Ferdinand: the former supports him, while the latter criticizes him. The tension escalates to the point that Rose is forced to intervene to ensure they behave professionally.
After the test, Rose questions Clotilde about her behavior. She ends up confessing everything. Rose understands her sister’s reaction, but she also feels a great deal of compassion for Constance. She therefore convinces Clotilde to stop helping Ferdinand.
For his part, Ferdinand approaches Bérénice in the park and congratulates her on her signature dessert. Teyssier interrupts them to get him to leave her alone. He warns Ferdinand that he’ll make his life hell if he’s ever admitted to the Institute. A conversation that doesn’t fall on deaf ears…
Indeed, Louis has heard everything. He quickly approaches Ferdinand to advise him to keep a low profile around Teyssier. Afterwards, he goes to the director’s office to confront Teyssier about what he’s heard. The director then offers him a deal: if he helps him kick Ferdinand out of the competition, he promises to give him back his teaching position at the Institute…
Gaspard hurts Ninon
Gaspard suggests that Léonard join him in betting to win a year without diving. The young man makes Gary believe they’re going to vote for César, even though he has no chance, just to make him doubt himself. Gaspard then explains to Léonard that they’re going to vote for Fleur, who has every chance, and that they’ll share the year without diving.
Gaspard’s method works completely, as Gary decides to change his vote. Instead of Bianca, he ultimately bets on César. Zoé and Thelma stick to their initial choice: Ninon.
At the end of the second round of the competition, Gaspard probes Fleur, who admits she’s done a great job. This isn’t the case for Ninon, who feels like she’s completely failed. While Penelope consoles her, Gaspard makes a hurtful remark. Ninon leaves in tears. Penelope reproaches Gaspard for hurting others, pointing out that Maya did the right thing by staying away from him.
A little later, Gaspard goes to apologize to Ninon. She admits that she doesn’t dare look at the list posted in the park. Gaspard goes in her place and tells her that she passed the second round. He then grabs her review sheets and throws them in the trash, encouraging her to take risks and reveal her personality during the final test.
Lionel and Tom are at each other’s throats
In the park, Lionel and Tom are bored. Upon learning that Solal and Billie are going to train for the Master’s competition, they offer to coach them. Solal and Billie readily accept.
Lionel and Tom work together to develop a coaching program. Tom quickly admits that he wants to favor Billie, while Lionel insists on supporting Solal. War between the two camps is declared.
