Gaspard Discovers All His Mother’s Lies
At the farm, Gaspard is desperate to find a solution other than accusing Malik of stealing the takings from Alice’s festival. To convince him, Eléonore shows him photos of Malo, making him believe they were taken by the man she owes money to. She thus succeeds in drawing her eldest son into her scheme. She plans to steal the money from the cash register herself, then give the empty cash register to Gaspard so he can put it in Malik’s belongings.
Gaspard warns Coline of the situation, with photos of his brother in tow. He then asks her for a favor: to lock himself away with Malo while he is at the Institute with his mother. The young woman agrees to do him this favor. Upon arriving at the Institute, Gaspard is stopped by Maya, who wants to offer him her help, whatever it may be. But he refuses to involve her in his plan.
While his mother steals the cash register from the principal’s office, Gaspard keeps watch in the hallway. He hears Marc arrive and prevents him from entering by deliberately spilling pomegranate juice on him. Eléonore then gives him the empty cash register, as planned. Gaspard grabs it, then goes to Malik’s room to place the cash register in his closet.
For her part, Coline tries as best she can to keep Malo inside, but he insists on leaving. Seeing that all the doors are locked, he begins to panic. Coline is forced to explain why she’s keeping him locked up, showing him the photos. Malo then reveals that there’s nothing to worry about since the photos were taken by his mother.
At the Institute, an anonymous message is sent to the group, accusing Malik of leaving the principal’s office that afternoon. Clotilde and Alice decide to go to his room to search through his things and make sure he hasn’t stolen anything. And indeed, they find nothing.
At the last minute, Gaspard feels remorseful and takes back the empty cash register. Back at the farm, he explains to his mother that Malik doesn’t deserve to be accused in their place. At the same time, Coline confronts Eléonore about her lies about his alleged assault. Gaspard realizes she’s been making it all up from the start. Feeling betrayed, he orders her to leave the premises…
Bérénice tells Constance that she’s working with Joséphine on an engagement cake because she plans to propose to Carla on Friday. The young woman takes the opportunity to ask her sister to walk her down the aisle on the day, which the latter happily accepts.
Meanwhile, Carla shows Zoé the low-calorie diet she’s planned for them. Rose comes to greet them, hoping to find a slot to spend time with her daughter. But she retorts that she’s too busy these days and sends her packing. Zoé suggests she tell her the truth, but Carla pretends she’s not at all bothered by this family name issue.
Later, Carla catches Bérénice and Joséphine getting very close while cooking in the studio. She asks her girlfriend to go back to the marshes with her, but Bérénice declines so she can continue working, surprising her. Annoyed, Carla turns her back.
Loup brushes Fleur off
Encouraged by Loup’s compliment the day before, Fleur wants to try her luck again at seducing him. She tells Joséphine about her plan and asks her, among other things, to lend her a dress and give her makeup advice.
Later, at the boarding school, Fleur suggests Loup go on a date at Comptoir de Jude. The young man refuses, explaining that he already has feelings for someone else. After a little thought, Fleur guesses that it’s Josephine. Disgusted, she confides in Lionel.
