Eve and Dr. Higgins begin discussing this famous charity event in the sequel to season 36 of the series The Mysteries of Love They have targeted Hélène (Hélène Rollès), who is forming her group with the boys, including Nicolas (Patrick Puydebat). Eve could take charge of convincing them to be the stars of this big event. The doctor admits that Eve had some great ideas.
She nods, wondering if she had already noticed. “I noticed it last night,” he said, revealing that he spent the night with Eve. The healthcare professional even wondered what a beautiful creature like her was doing with “an old thing” like him. In the episode airing this Sunday, May 11, 2025, on TMC, Eve refuses to let him say that about himself. “Besides, lying down, you’re far from being disabled,” she added.
The Mysteries of Love: Eve’s Irrevocable Decision
Eve (Ève Peyrieux) tries to reassure him by telling him a story. She reveals that she has had a tumultuous life with men and women. “I even had slaves,” she says without any embarrassment. She confides that these physical and sexual adventures always lead to the same end. As proof, with each heterosexual, homosexual, or sado-maso adventure, she ends up getting bored.
So she makes a radical decision after these multiple experiences: she changes sides by becoming sapiosexual. She no longer falls in love with the physical, but with an intelligence. Doctor Higgins (Maxime van Laer) also makes a confession: he too has had romantic adventures, but he has never met anyone like her.
The Mysteries of Love: Hélène, stunned by Dr. Higgins’s choice
Eve adds that she finds Dr. Higgins very intelligent. “You’re brilliant,” she says, adding that she finds him admirable. “You never complain about your disability; on the contrary, you handle it well,” adds Eve, before coming over to kiss her. Eve and Dr. Higgins are now a couple, and Hélène soon finds out.
She walks in on the two lovers kissing, which doesn’t seem to bother Eve. “At least you know,” replies Eve. Later, Hélène, shocked by this scene, confides in Laly (Laly Meignan), who isn’t very surprised. “It surprises me coming from Higgins, but nothing surprises me anymore from Eve,” adds the woman who is now in a relationship with Vincent. Hélène concludes by saying that as long as they’re happy, that’s the main thing.
The Mysteries of Love can be found every Sunday at 8 p.m. on TMC.
