Gaspard and Maya fall back into each other’s arms.
While Gaspard has decided to leave the Institute and find work to pay for his brother’s schooling, Coline tries to think of other solutions. But Gaspard has already taken action: he has a meeting with the chef of a local bistro who is looking for a commis.
At the Atelier, Gaspard makes Maya believe that he has found a solution to pay for her brother’s schooling, without revealing the details. He then asks Alice if he can leave a little early so he can go to the Comptoir de Jude where he has his interview. The chef, however, declares that he spoke negatively about him on the phone from a teacher. He doesn’t want to hire her.
Leaving the café, Gaspard runs into Maya. Coline informed him of the situation, and she is the one who posed as a teacher to the chef. Indeed, Maya admits that she doesn’t want him to leave the Institute. She wants to help him find other solutions.
Gaspard and Maya fall back into each other’s arms. After making love, the young man realizes that it wasn’t Coline, but his mother, who went to see Maya to inform her of the situation. Annoyed, Gaspard leaves a message for his mother, accusing her of trying to manipulate Maya to achieve his ends. He declares that he hasn’t changed his mind and that he’s still going to leave the Institute to find work.
Meanwhile, Alice has Marc and Clotilde taste her desserts based on the five flavors. She’s particularly strict about the order of tasting, which makes Clotilde fear the worst. Marc reassures her by promising to be by Alice’s side during the festival.
At the farm, Eléonore arrives, unsteady, with a black eye. She tells Coline and Gaspard that she was attacked by men to whom she owes money. She explains that they risk attacking Malo directly if she doesn’t pay them by next week. Gaspard unfortunately decides they have no choice: they’ll have to embezzle the money from Alice’s festival…
Anouk applies her method without a chef
In the kitchen, Enzo and Anouk explain to the Double A kitchen staff that they will be in the dining room with Clotilde as customers while they cook without a chef. This will allow them to make decisions together and communicate better.
During the service, the students are initially overwhelmed, but they eventually find their feet and communicate more. Anouk is reassured. She admits to Enzo and Clotilde that her method doesn’t always work. But fortunately, the kitchen staff is doing well. Convinced by her exercise, Clotilde agrees to occasionally incorporate it into the students’ curriculum.
Ferdinand Surrenders
In class, Ferdinand keeps hinting at Joséphine’s addiction. Loup can see he’s bothering her. The young girl confesses that he’s blackmailing her. She hopes to find a way to make him give up.
Later, at the Coffee Shop, Ferdinand wants to do another blind test with his class. Joséphine retorts that no one wants to spend time with him. Loup joins them and declares that he managed to get Ferdinand out of the teachers’ loop on the Institute’s app. In fact, he used Clotilde’s phone to do it. Ferdinand then shows that he took a screenshot of the message. But he ultimately decides to delete it.
