Monday, September 22 – Episode 2036
Raphaëlle offers Soraya the chance to attend Soizic’s trial; she thinks she’s ready. Soraya thanks her for her trust. Before the trial, the two women have a final meeting with Soizic. Soraya advises her to remain neutral. Raphaëlle advises Adam and François to stay calm and not leave the hearing. Adam, stressed, asks if Lou has new evidence against Soizic. Raphaëlle says she can’t know, but if so, they’ll have to keep a cool head. The start of the trial will shake up many of the protagonists. Sylvain will be a juror at Soizic’s trial: he confides in Bruno. He has to go. Christelle is convinced that Soizic is guilty; the atmosphere will be tense at home.
Fresh out of the hospital, Roxane is with Sara and Enora at Bart’s. She would like to meet Erica for dinner. Erica happily accepts. During the meal, things don’t go as planned. Erica isn’t comfortable discussing the reasons for her transfer to Sète and smokes by the window, which annoys Roxane. Roxane thinks Erica is hiding something. Victoire and Fred have brought back culinary souvenirs from Marrakech for Ellie and Samuel. Ellie is convinced that Samuel is still in love with Victoire.
At the end of the episode, Lou is about to enter her office when Adam comes out and bumps into her without her recognizing him. Has he looked at Soizic’s file?
Tuesday, September 23 – Episode 2037
Soizic has trouble sleeping, reliving her last moments with Martial in a disturbing dream. When she wakes up, it’s the big day of her trial. Before the trial, François visits Soizic in the visiting room. He reassures her. Soizic apologizes for what she’s put him through. After someone breaks into her office, Lou files a complaint. But since she couldn’t identify him, an investigation proves complicated. Adam reveals to Maud that he took photos of Lou’s closing argument. Raphaëlle surprises them, and Adam explains that Lou will plead premeditation. Raphaëlle orders Adam to delete the compromising photos. The trial begins. In the courtroom, Alain, François, Adam, and Gloria are present to support Soizic. Raphaëlle pleads accident. Dramatic turn of events: Lou reveals that Soizic had her tires changed the day after the accident. She believes that Soizic doctored the evidence and insists that it was murder, not an accident.
Bart confides in Sara that Erica has a free spirit, a bit provocative, but that’s what makes her charming. Sara understands that Bart is in love. Erica asks Marceau to make an effort with Bart. Roxane, Sara, and Énora reluctantly join them. The atmosphere is tense. Mona and Joël argue violently. Joël wants to go to the West Indies to enjoy his retirement, but Mona refuses to do nothing at the beach.
Wednesday, September 24 – Episode 2038
Adam is due to take the stand. François advises him, insisting that he be honest and transparent. Soizic is heard as the accused. She says that after the accident, she was no longer herself, that she was struggling to cope. She admits her shame, and especially her fear that her secret affair would be discovered. But she wasn’t in love. What she loved was pleasing Martial. Adam testifies. For him, Martial was like a big brother. Damien confirms that Martial died of a pulmonary contusion after hitting Soizic’s car wheel. Lou explains that Soizic allegedly hit Martial in reverse, while she could see him. Samuel is questioned by Raphaëlle about Soizic’s secrets. He claims that she was looking for a distraction, a way to escape her routine through this affair. Faced with Lou, who thinks Soizic confided in him out of self-interest, Samuel doesn’t give in. Aurore and Karim discover the identity of the person who broke into Lou’s office to rummage through her things. They have no choice: they must denounce Adam.
At school, Lizzie makes her debut as a supervisor. Erica is thrilled and asks her to start immediately. Lizzie signs her contract, with a trial period at stake. Joël tells Mona that he has already put his bakery and apartment up for sale to leave for the West Indies. Leaving the courtroom, Raphaëlle notices that Soraya is tired, dizzy, and short of breath.
Thursday, September 25 – Episode 2039
Soraya recovers from her emotions. A car nearly runs over Soraya. Raphaëlle then has a flash of genius: what if Martial was already on the ground before Soizic ran him over? She wants to access Martial’s medical records, but Aurore asks her to make a requisition. Lou reveals a new element: Adam broke into her office. She explains that if he believed in Soizic’s innocence, he wouldn’t have taken that risk. At home, François lectures Adam. His actions could cost them a lot of money. Soraya tries to get Martial’s medical history from the pharmacy to explain his loss of consciousness.
Noor arrives at the Sète Market Halls to see Judith and Alex at the oyster stand. Noor runs into Arthur at the Halles, who introduces himself as an Italian caterer and volunteer firefighter. She says she’s a nurse at Saint-Clair. They’ve met before.
Martin and Raphaëlle’s relationship is deteriorating. Martin feels they don’t have the same red lines in their work and implies that Raphaëlle is dishonest. She tells him that if this is the image he has of her, it’s not a good idea to get married.
Friday, September 26 – Episode 2040
Soizic’s private life is finally exposed. Samuel is truly ready to commit. Jordan is lost and questioning himself.
