Soizic’s trial begins. At the police station, Karim takes a statement from Lou, who reports the break-in at her office the previous evening. She states that she encountered a young man of average build wearing jeans and a black hoodie. She also adds that he didn’t steal anything from her office. In fact, she always keeps her computer and cell phone with her. Karim promises that he will investigate further, even though he has little hope of finding the culprit.
For his part, François goes to the visiting room. He wants to make Soizic understand that he supports her and that he is confident for the future. She thanks him for being her pillar of strength, even though she will never be able to forgive herself for everything she has done to him.
Meanwhile, Adam reveals to Raphaëlle that he broke into Maître Clément’s office and took a photo of his closing argument. He then warns his mother’s lawyer that the civil party will be pleading premeditated murder. Raphaëlle is far from surprised, however. She orders Adam to erase everything and let her do it instead of taking unnecessary risks.
In court, Alain, François, Adam, and Gloria are present to support Soizic. As prosecutor, Sébastien explains that she is accused of manslaughter, hit-and-run, and failure to assist a person in danger of Martial Toselo.
Aurore is the first to take the stand. Questioned by Lou, she admits that it’s still possible to assume that Soizic intended to cause Martial’s death. Maître Clément already announces that she will focus on proving that Martial’s murder was premeditated.
It’s then Raphaëlle’s turn to question Aurore. She brings up the case of her teammate at the time of the investigation, Michaël Feray, revealing that he is now in prison for complicity in murder. Raphaëlle emphasizes that it’s difficult to trust Aurore’s judgment when she wasn’t even able to suspect her own colleague.
During the break, Martin takes Raphaëlle aside. He was in the audience and heard everything. He accuses her of smearing her colleagues in front of everyone. Raphaëlle retorts that he has no right to judge how she does her job.
After the break, Aurore returns to the stand. Lou questions her about François, who initially pleaded guilty to Martial’s death, before Soizic confesses. Facing questions from the lawyer, Aurore also admits that Soizic changed her tires the day after the accident, probably to disguise the evidence of her crime. Lou turns to the president, declaring that Martial’s murder was therefore a cold-blooded murder, punishable by 30 years in prison…

Marceau embarrasses his mother.
Roxane lights sage to remove the cigarette smell left by Erica the night before. Sara assures Bart that he shouldn’t worry and that his wife will eventually come to appreciate his girlfriend. Bart is relieved because he is truly in love.
For her part, Erica wants Marceau to meet Bart for a drink. The young man gives in, even though he doesn’t really want to. While the three of them are clinking glasses at Spoon, Roxane and Sara enter the cafe. Erica invites them to join them. Marceau then becomes extremely provocative, admitting that his mother usually criticizes the cops. Bart intervenes to make him stop being so unpleasant. Marceau takes the opportunity to leave.
Joel Wants to Retire with Mona
Audrey and Bart witness a violent argument between Joel and Mona. Mona confides that her partner wants to retire and move to the Caribbean with her. But Mona has no desire to do so.
Meanwhile, Bastien meets up with Violette and Lilou for her going-away party. He follows them to Montpellier to celebrate, hoping to be home by midnight, as he promised his mother.
