Soizic’s trial begins!
The day before her trial, Soizic has nightmares and relives the accident involving Martial.
Lou came to file a complaint at the police station. A man entered her office, but he didn’t steal anything, and all the files were in place: everything was impeccable. Karim explained to her that there wasn’t much he could do, and Lou told him that she mainly came for the insurance. Before leaving, Karim wished her good luck with the trial.
Before the hearing, Soizic meets François in the visiting room. She apologizes for everything she has done and assures him that she loves him. She hopes he can forgive her.
Meanwhile, Adam confides in Maud that he broke into Lou’s office and took a photo of the file concerning Soizic and Martial’s trial. Raphaëlle overhears their conversation, and Adam finally confesses everything. He reveals that Lou intends to plead premeditated murder. Raphaëlle, who suspected this, orders him to delete the photos immediately.
Everyone is present to witness the opening of Soizic’s trial. The prosecution is represented by Attorney General Sébastien Perraud.
Aurore testifies in her capacity as a police officer. She recounts the facts concerning Soizic and Martial, according to the investigation’s findings. Lou lays out her strategy: she will argue that Soizic intentionally killed Martial. She knows that the defense will rely on the theory of an accident.
Raphaëlle then returns to Soizic’s past and the investigators’ conclusions, particularly by mentioning Michaël, imprisoned for complicity in murder, abuse of authority, and drug trafficking. She questions the judgment of Captain Jacob, who worked with a corrupt official without realizing it. She also explains the circumstances of the accident with Martial, including the moment when he managed to follow her while handcuffed. Raphaëlle claims it was an accident.
During the break, Martin attacks Raphaëlle, accusing her of tarnishing his colleagues’ reputations. He becomes angry with her and her defensive strategy. Raphaëlle sharply reprimands him, asking him not to interfere with her work.
The trial resumes. Lou questions Aurore again. She brings up a disturbing element: Soizic allegedly changed her tires so that the rubber found on Martial’s torso and on his car couldn’t be identified. Lou also points out that Soizic accused herself of the murder when François was a suspect. She concludes that it wasn’t an accident, but rather a cover-up.
Bart meets Marceau
Meanwhile, Roxane burns incense, still annoyed by the smell of Erica’s cigarettes. Sara confides in Bart that Roxane is still angry with her, but she’s convinced she’ll change her mind eventually. While talking with him, Sara realizes Bart is in love with Erica.
Erica tells Bart that she wants to introduce him to Marceau and hopes he’ll rise to the occasion.
The three of them meet up for a drink at Spoon. Roxane, Enora, and Sara run into them. Erica invites them to join them.
But things get tense: while Erica is telling a professional anecdote, Marceau cuts her off abruptly, saying that everyone is bored. She then suggests he propose another topic of conversation. Marceau recognizes Sara and reminds her that she arrested him last summer over a mask issue. His behavior is tense and unpleasant. Finally, Erica asks him to leave, embarrassed by his attitude. She apologizes to Bart.
Mona falls from a great height
Joel tells Mona that he’s thinking about retiring and thinks he might want to move to the West Indies. Mona, surprised and upset, accuses him of presenting her with a fait accompli, especially since she has no desire to “hang out” on a beach.
Georges fears a breakup between Mona and Joël. Meanwhile, Bastien informs Mélody that Lilou is leaving Sète and that he plans to attend her leaving party.

Lilou is leaving
Lilou meets up with Bastien and Violette for her last evening in Sète. Both are saddened by the thought of her imminent departure.
