Indeed, TF1 offered in prime time “Filip”, the biopic on Filip Nikolic of 2be3, who died in 2009 at the age of 35. This TV movie was marked by the presence of Patrick Puydebat, the interpreter of Nicolas in The Mysteries of Love.

In Filip, Patrick Puydebat plays Alain, CEO of the record company EMI. In this scene where the actor appears, his character fires 2be3 after the failure of their second album. This sequence with the actor lasts three minutes and it did not go unnoticed by fans of The Mysteries of Love.
Furthermore, TF1’s audience for Filip was disappointing. The biopic, starring Mikaël Mittelstadt and Sara Mortensen, attracted 2.12 million and 1.85 million viewers respectively, representing 11.4% and 11.7% of the market share for those aged four and over, between 9:15 p.m. and 11:07 p.m. The channel ranked third in audience figures.
