In June 2024, fans of The Mysteries of Love discovered Fabienne Thibeault in the series produced by Jean-Luc Azoulay. The Quebec star, revealed in France by the musical Starmania, appeared at the end of season 34 and at the beginning of season 35 of the soap opera broadcast every Sunday at 8 p.m. on TMC.

In The Mysteries of Love, Fabienne Thibeault played the role of Germaine Cholet, a former mistress of Dany le Boucher (Vincent Pietton), Ingrid’s brother. The latter had held his sister hostage with Nicolas (Patrick Puydebat). When Dany escaped from prison, Madame Cholet, under his influence, did everything she could to help him get revenge.

Then, after Dany’s arrest, Madame Cholet discovered that some of his friends wanted to recover a treasure. With the help of Ingrid (Carole Dechantre) and Tania (Sandrine Guisier), she returned to the house she had bought with Dany and where they lived for a few months. The treasure hunt was not easy for the protagonists, who faced traps.

Since this story, Germaine Cholet has not appeared in Les mystères de l’amour. On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of Mélody TV, Toutelatele was able to meet Fabienne Thibeault. She looked back on her experience in the series produced by Jean-Luc Azoulay and is not against a return…

Fabienne Thibeault says about her experience on The Mysteries of Love: “I really enjoyed it. The team is charming, very competent, and very friendly.” Regarding a possible return, it’s not on the agenda, but she says it would be “with pleasure.”

Furthermore, The Mysteries of Love is a series that has been around for years and therefore has a lot of characters. Fabienne Thibeault admits that she was briefed in advance and assures that the team “is very nice” and “helps a lot.” Regarding the filming conditions, she says: “We shoot quickly, but everyone knows their job well.”

Regarding her projects, Fabienne Thibeault explains that she continues to perform. She is not against a new experience as an actress on television if she is offered one. On Starmania, she admits: “It’s been 45 years, it’s a long story. But they are beautiful memories.”
