In the first episode of season 36 of The Mysteries of Love , broadcast on Sunday, January 26, 2025, on TMC, Bénédicte confides in Hélène (Hélène Rollès) over breakfast. She explains that she and Jimmy aren’t having any money problems, but the water sports business isn’t making enough money right now. They have to pay off the renovations. Hélène offers to help if she’d like. Bénédicte thanks her but declines.

Later, Jimmy (Tom Schacht) has a date with Sophie, his ex who is still in love with him. He hasn’t told Bénédicte about this date. They compliment each other. Speaking of Christian (Sébastien Roch) and Fanny (Elsa Esnoult), Sophie seems to be referring to herself and Jimmy. She explains that Fanny was troubled by Adrian, the zoologist.

Sophie and Jimmy: an impossible love story in The Mysteries of Love?

Sophie (Charlène François) then tells her story. She explains that she lives in the provinces and manages a fast-food restaurant. But she admits that she misses the Parisian atmosphere. She admits that she misses the people from the water sports club. Jimmy tells her that she’s welcome. Later in the conversation, Jimmy explains that Victor (Benoît Dubois) and Aurélie (Angèle Vivier) are getting married.

Sophie ends up reporting Olga’s comments. Olga hasn’t gotten over her breakup with Jimmy for Bénédicte. So, she decides to get revenge by pretending to Sophie that Jimmy is still in love with her. Sophie ends up confessing to Jimmy that she can’t get over him. Jimmy admits that he thinks about her from time to time, but he doesn’t want to ruin everything with Bénédicte. Sophie is understanding.

Later, at the water park, Olga (Macha Polikarpova) talks with Bénédicte, far from imagining her friend’s Machiavellian plan. During the conversation, she explains that she adores Sylvain and Jimmy. Bénédicte (Laure Guibert) reminds her that she is no longer with Jimmy. Olga is still in denial and explains that she made Jimmy suffer and thanks Bénédicte for taking care of him. Olga believes Jimmy will come back to her because she believes he is the love of her life.

Bénédicte finally tells her the truth, telling her that she is really in a relationship with Jimmy. Olga thinks he is consoled by Bénédicte. The latter ends up announcing that she is going to marry Jimmy. Olga doesn’t believe it, but Bénédicte explains that she is no longer his great love. She says she is relieved to have told her. It takes Olga a while to understand that she is no longer Jimmy’s great love. Then she collapses to the ground! But it’s not a tragic end for Olga; she just fainted.
